Introduction
One of the best things about being a critical mass wizard is the ability to take on really powerful bosses and killing them without having super high DPS. Playing as this is super fun when playing in a group, but if you have low DPS, killing a boss in higher MP, can take a while.
The Goal
The goal to have a good critical mass wizard, is having certain main stats that are a must. If anything, get Attack Speed, Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Life on Hit, and All Resist. The 7 elements are as follows:
- Intelligence
- This is your main stat, you must have, but since your doing a crit mass wiz its ok to have low.
- Attack Speed
- This helps with getting critical hit chance so that way you can replenish your arcane power.
- Critical Hit Damage
- When you hit critical hit chance, this is the DPS multiplier.
- Critical Hit Chance
- This gives you the chance to crit damage. Higher the better, but not the usefull if you have low CHD. You want high attack speed, so you are more likely to crit chance, thus crit damage more.
- Vitality
- Well this is obvious, you need high vitality so that way you can take a hit.
- All Resist
- Having all resist helps out because it will help slow the damage of the bosses elements, like poison, ice, fire..ect.
- Life on Hit
- Having life on Hit is a must. Each time you hit, you restore life. Ideal is 1300.
Minimum What You Need
Attack Speed: 2.30
Critical Hit Chance: %50
Critical Hit Damage: %300
Vitality: 45,000
All Resist: 400
Life on Hit: 1000
Remember that when getting crit damage and attack speed, its better to get it on your weapon, so you dont have to make it up on your gear.
Skill
These are my recommended skill used when playing a CM wizard.
Main Hand: use all the time
Off hand: use once it runs out
Slot 1-3: Use repeatably
Slot 4: use once it runs out
Remember that the more attack speed you have, the more you crit damage, then the more you replenish your arcane from whirlwind.
